Is this a medical device?
Is this a medical device?
No. Stablwear is a performance and stability support brace, not a medical device. It's not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you're managing an injury or have a medical concern, talk to your doctor before use.
How is this different from a regular velcro brace?
How is this different from a regular velcro brace?
Most braces use velcro straps that loosen over time and give you maybe two or three tightness settings. Stablwear uses a reel-fit dial that lets you micro-adjust tension with one hand and holds it there until you decide to release it.
How do I put it on?
How do I put it on?
Slip it on like a sock, position it over your ankle, and twist the dial clockwise until it feels right. That's it. No threading, no wrapping, no second pair of hands needed.
Can I wear it on either ankle?
Can I wear it on either ankle?
The brace is sided — make sure you select left or right at checkout. Check the sizing guide if you're unsure.
Will it fit in my shoe?
Will it fit in my shoe?
Yes. The dial sits low-profile on the outer ankle and is designed to fit inside most athletic shoes, trail shoes, and boots without bulking up the fit.
How tight should I dial it?
How tight should I dial it?
Tight enough to feel supported, not so tight it cuts off circulation. Most people find their sweet spot in the first few wears. You can adjust on the fly mid-activity without stopping.
